The Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio are a jazz funk band formed in Seattle in 2015. Although the group are essentially a contemporary jazz trio their sound evokes memories of the 1960s jazz and funk era due to organist Lamarr’s choice of Hammond B3 as his primary keyboard. The Hammond’s distinctive sound gives a period flavour to the band’s compositions and Lamarr is renowned for getting the best out of this iconic instrument.
